New Earning Multiplier Alert: Chase + Paze = 10x

Chase just quietly rolled out one of the most interesting earning opportunities we’ve seen in a while, an extra 10x Ultimate Rewards points when you check out using Paze at participating online merchants.

The bonus is available on eligible Chase Sapphire and Freedom cards through December 31, 2026, and stacks on top of your normal earning rates. That means a Sapphire Reserve cardholder booking a United flight through Paze could earn 13x–14x total points, while Freedom Flex users may even see 15x+ opportunities when quarterly bonus categories overlap.

The offer is capped at $1,500 in purchases per month, which still means up to 15,000 bonus Ultimate Rewards points monthly.

The current list of merchants isn’t massive yet, but there are already some useful names including United, Sephora, Dunkin’, Domino’s, ShopRite, and Newegg (which may open up some interesting gift card and resale strategies for advanced users). Paze itself is basically the banking industry’s answer to PayPal or Apple Pay; a digital wallet backed by major banks including Chase, Capital One, and Wells Fargo.

If you haven’t looked at Paze before, this promo is probably the first truly compelling reason to care. And for those of us looking to earn points, make sure you are checking these merchants on shopping portals as well.

The Paze bonus, also, stacks with portal earnings and your normal category bonuses for some very strong multiplier opportunities.
