Here is how to find out which airlines you should make accounts with: Refer to the Transfer Partner Matrix to identify which airlines you can transfer points to with your current cards.

In this example you can transfer Chase, Amex, Bilt and Capital One points to Air Canada Aeroplan. If you have any of those transferable points, go ahead and create a frequent flier account with Air Canada.
